Luke Taylor was not fond of getting out and going on hikes in his native Ohio when he was younger. Now he plans to contribute columns on hiking and the outdoors biweekly in our Lifestyle section.
In December 2019, he followed his wife, a nurse practitioner, to Guam. She had a new job at Guam Memorial Hospital, and he took ownership of their online business, 2BeLikeChrist, which focuses on Christian education.
Taylor was raised in Columbus, Ohio and has spent time around West Virginia, Ohio and Tennessee.
“I hated hiking when I was a kid. I thought it was pointless to walk through the woods for hours at a time,” Taylor said. “It was once I got out of Ohio that I enjoyed it more because Ohio, for the most part, is flat.”
