DULUTH It’s a tale as old as the pandemic: A musician had plans to record an album in mid-March 2020 one of those all-immersive sessions at a sleepover studio. Then plans were scrapped a few days in advance because COVID-19, of course.
“We were all set; we had our songs,” said Breanne Tepler, the singer-songwriter who fronts Duluth s Breanne Marie and the Front Porch Sinners.

Cedar Lounge, for the indoor-concert curious
As a human whose only recent experiences In Public are grocery stores, Target and Zenith Bookstore, it is Cedar Lounge in Superior that most piques my In Public interest. It’s inspired by the well-spaced tables, added exhaust fans and Plexiglass, confessional-booth-style spots at the bar that I see on its social media.
So here’s an excuse to go there, masked: Ingeborg von Aggasiz plays from 5-7 p.m. on Fridays in February. The electronic folk singer-songwriter will play originals and cover songs.

SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. An AMBER Alert has been canceled after a missing 10-year-old girl from Sampson County, North Carolina was found safe Tuesday evening.
Sampson County Sheriff Jimmy Thornton told WRAL that the county Department of Social Services placed Breanne and her 8-year-old brother in their grandmother s custody a few days ago. Jonathan Lewis Jones, the children s father, went to the home outside Turkey on Monday night and took the girl, WRAL reports.

North Carolina Police are searching for a missing young girl out of Sampson County who they believe was abducted by two people, one of which is believed to be her father.
State and local authorities issued an Amber Alert on Tuesday afternoon (January 26) for missing and presumed kidnapped
Breanne Marie Jones. Jones is 10 years old, white, has light brown hair and green eyes, and wears glasses. She is approximately 3 feet and 4 inches tall and weighs 75 pounds.
Jones was last seen wearing a gray and pink hooded Adidas sweatshirt, red leggings, and white Adidas shoes with pink stripes.
