THEO has been hit by lockdown fatigue this week as remote learning with his mum and Haydon Wick Primary School continues into the fifth week. Kelly Shepherd has been home-schooling her nine-year-old, who is believed to have ADHD, since the third lockdown began and schools to all but vulnerable pupils and children of key workers. Two of Theo s older sisters Rubi, 15, and Letitia, 13, both go to Nova Hreod Academy. Kelly has shared her homeschooling experiences with the Adver and here’s her second diary entry. February 1: Today started well until I noticed Theo looked busy but wasn’t doing his work properly. He then got very upset with me because I pulled him up on it, I really do think he has had enough of lockdown and this is starting to show in his behaviour towards schooling.
