Night at this time. The heat advisories are gone. The red flag warnings are gone. And the fog is back. Look at it working its way back up the coast. Through the Golden Gate Bridge and out into the east bay. Here the deal, air conditioners in the inland valleys are clicking off tonight. Temperatures instead of in the 80s and 90s in fairfield, theyre just in the 70s. Soon to be in the 60s. San francisco is 58 degrees right now. A couple nights ago, San Francisco was in the upper 60s. Sneeze, 16 degrees cooler afrm massive cooldown. Tomorrow, temperatures cool further. Even though today appears fairly warm. Another rapid cooldown tomorrow. As much as 10 more degrees. So this cooling trend, well underway. Spare the air day, not happening tomorrow. Red flag warning is gone. And we get back to a more typical summer, late spring pattern. With the return of the fog at the coast, it wont be long before folks who are inland see relief from these scorching temperatures. Es. Depending on where you
Noticeably cooler. For some yesterday, it was still hot. There were 90s and 100s. For others, the city checked in at 79. But its way down now on the temps. The wind is up. Delta wind is up as well. Gusts to 33 mys per hour at travis, san jose. 81. Concord 100 yesterday. 87 in the city. From 79 to 64. And nap a85 to 78. A little you can see that right there. Thats a jet stream kind of taking a little noticeable dip there. Onshore breeze. 50s for most, instead of 60s. Even around the bay. City at 57. Not 74 like it was yesterday at this crime. Thats a huge drop. Berkeley lab in the oakland his. And 54, tiburon. If you were waiting for the cool. Its back. You dont have to worry about it now. If anything, i think its going to get even cooler. 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s now well inland. 5 02. Ace train, right . Yeah. No ace train this morning. You heard me right. No Ace Train Service this morning. If you watch early this morning, and you are saying, what does that mean for my commute . It is going
Compared to yesterday at this time at concord. And you can see double digits for many, including fairfiel ore, sfo, oakland, hayward, Mountain View and san jose has an issue there. Theyre not reporting but maybe theyll get it fixed. Theres your wind, west southwest. Vacaville and toward davis. Out of the upper 60s, out of the 70s. And low clouds are back. And theyre back in a big day. And i dont think theyre going anywhere for a couple of days. Back in the 50s and 60s. 70s and 80s for most. 4 31. Sal is here. Super commute time . Yes, it is, steve. It is the commute from the area of fairfield to vacaville, american canyon. Vallejo. Heading out west. Looks pretty good so far. No major issues. A little slowin world. Going to get warmer for some of us for most, that is correct. We do have a little change in our pattern after a cooldown on wednesday, especially thursday. Inland areas, there were some only mid 70s for some 50s on the temps to san joses 58, but palo alto dropped to 51. Now 52, the tropical cloud monsoon moisture continues to be close to taos, up near the oregon border in northeast california, but not a lot in the state, but its close. So 50 to 60s by the coast, 70s, 80s inland. After that drop yesterday, temps will rebound today, pretty close to where they should be this time of year. Lets get back to the traffic now with james torres. So thank you will take you right over to 880 this morning. But we had a traffic from much earlier this morning at about 3 00 am. A car overturned and three other cars also crashed together. Thats southbound 880 near downtown oakland, kind of near fruitvale, just past Jack London Square.
