After heavy rains, floods destroyed roads and bridges in several regions of Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul state, killing nearly 60 people with over 70 gone missing and around 70,000 people displaced.
Three days after a storm brought down power cables, leaving a significant portion of Brazil's largest city, Sao Paulo, in the dark, around half a million residents continue to be without electricity.
An intense storm has battered southern Brazil, causing floods and killing at least 22 people. Several cities are now flooded, with the province of Rio Grande do Sul being the most affected.
