A YOUNG cancer survivor, who has campaigned for better support for patients during the pandemic, has set out to help people battling the disease find local support. Brave Beth Clyde was given the all clear Hogkin’s Lymphoma months after her shock diagnosis at just 21-years-old. Despite undergoing a gruelling chemotherapy course, the zoology graduate has been open about how facing her treatment alone - as part of tough coronavirus restrictions - was the worst part. Her experience prompted Beth to launch her own Instagram and YouTube channel to connect with other patients, as well as partnering with the Teenage Cancer Trust’s mental health campaign Not OK.
