IU s Celebrity and LILAC have been recognized as the best among the songs and albums dropped within the first half of 2021.
On July 1, Billboard Korea revealed the songs, albums, and singers that performed well on the Billboard K-pop 100 chart from January to June.
Among the tracks, IU s Celebrity has been selected as the Best Song in the first half of 2021. Meanwhile, LILAC was picked as the Best Album in the same period.

K-pop boy band Seventeen topped the album chart for the second straight week as their new release, “Your Choice,” reached 1.37 million copies in sales.
Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the rankings of its weekly physical album chart covering the period June 21 to 27.
Seventeen’s “Your Choice” took first place again with 396,909 copies sold for the period. Last week, the album topped Hanteo’s weekly chart with 974,813 copies sold. In total, from June 18 to 27, “Your Choice” has sold 1,371,722 copies.
Placing second is NCT Dream’s “Hot Sauce” with 34,004 followed by A.C.E’s “Siren: Dawn” with 30,750; Brave Girls’ “Summer Queen,” 29,988; and TWICE’s “Taste of Love,” 25,572.
