City Of Tulsa Offers Grants For Plumbing Repairs From Winter Weather Damage
The City of Tulsa is offering to help pay for emergency home plumbing repairs to fix damage caused by last month’s freezing temperatures.
The grants are available to lower income homeowners who have not yet had the plumbing repaired. The money does not have to be paid back.
The program is the same one used before to repair roofs after the North Tulsa tornado, and repair weather heads damaged in the ice storm. We knew that we were going to have a lot of people wake up after the thaw and realize they had a lot of water leaks, and that qualifies as the emergency program just by nature,” program coordinator Brant Pitchford said.
