Jason Tufts, one of South Carolina s chef ambassadors from 2020 through 2021, is general manager of The Village Cafe and had a trip to London among 2023 highlights. He was a featured speaker at a November meeting of the British Travel Writers Guild, and addressed the group in a gathering at Middle Temple Hall, in London. Tufts and two of his peers served for two years in the ambassadorial post, instead of the traditional one year, due to so many of 2020 s events having been curtailed amid COVID-19 restrictions.
