The game. Owner niall gunn watched it all happen in front of him. He hit the gas. Crazy. It sounded like a huge thunder, like a huge clap of thunder. Reporter the driver, a man in his 50s, mistaken the gas for the brake and plowed in front of the bar. Amazingly no one was sitting at the window at the time. His car seemed pretty good when it got pulled out, very little damage to it. By the luck of the irish, i dont know. Tough day at the office here. In fact a pretty lucky day after all because no one inside this restaurant suffered even a scratch and the driver of the car had only minor injuries. 15 minutes ago. Kind of bad. Reporter peging crews removed the crumbled piece of metal which used to be an electrical tower after Construction Equipment slammed into it on friday night. Shannon was having dinner nearby when she heard the tower falling. Almost signedded like either a bomb went off i at first thought a plane crashed. Reporter the impact dropped live electrical wires on 101. The freeway was quickly shut done but motorists were stranded for four hours. My car is okay. There are cars at the front that are straddling the lines and apparently theres a delivery truck that is kind of entwined in a power line. We were able to get everyone off the freeway safely, make the area safe, and able to remove the wires that were impacted. A new broadway 101 overcrossing was under construction. Caltrans says ansah vater belonging to the Japan Foundation Engineering Company caused the accident. That is under investigation. The excavator hit the tower, the rear end. Reporter we reached out
