Comal County Sheriffâs Office investigators and Texas Rangers revealed few details into the probe into Friday morningâs shooting that hospitalized a Canyon Lake man and sent the accused shooter to the Comal County Jail.
âI donât know if there are any updates â I just know that itâs under investigation,â Sheriff Mark Reynolds said on Monday. âThere are a lot of details that theyâre still trying to uncover.
âIâm going to say that they are going to wait until such time as they get all the details.â
CCSO deputies and Canyon Lake Fire and EMS units responded to a home in the 1000 block of Real Lane in Canyon Lake at approximately 6:33 a.m. on Friday. Canyon Lake Fire Chief Darren Brinkkoeter said a 28-year-old man was in critical condition when he was transported by ground EMS to Seton Hays Hospital in Kyle.Â

A Comal County man was arrested on Friday after an early morning shooting at a home in Canyon Lake.
Brandon Michael Cramer, 27, is charged with aggravated assault-family violence, a felony.
Comal County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called just after 6:30 Friday morning to the 1000 block of Real Lane for reports that a man had been shot. The residence is located off FM 306 on the east side of the lake.
A Canyon Lake man was charged in the shooting of another man early Friday morning, Comal County Sheriffâs Office said.
Jennifer Smith, CCSO public information officer, said deputies and Canyon Lake Fire and EMS units responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Real Lane in Canyon Lake at approximately 6:33 a.m. Friday.
âThe CCSO received a 9-1-1 call regarding an adult male victim involved in a shooting, Smith said. âDeputies, along with Canyon Lake Fire and Emergency Medical Services, responded to the location to perform lifesaving measures.â
