Faribault Man Dies in Fatal North Mankato Car Crash
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 31-year-old Faribault man has died after getting into a car crash on Highway 169 in North Mankato this morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that 31-year-old Brandon Kath of Faribault was killed after the 2007 Caddilac Escalade he was driving struck a parked vehicle in a parking lot and then rolled.
Before the crash, Kath was Northbound on Highway 169, when the vehicle left the roadway.
The vehicle Kath hit, a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara, was unoccupied.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Kath was unbelted at the time of the crash, which was reported at 5:39AM.

NORTH MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - A Faribault man died in a crash in North Mankato Friday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened around 5:40 when a SUV traveling north on 169 near Webster Avenue left the road and hit a parked SUV in a hotel parking lot.
Authorities say 31-year-old Brandon Kath died from injuries sustained in the crash.
