During the Division II regional track meet in Lexington, Ohio, Oak Harbor senior Peyton Bloomer and Genoa senior Noah Koch came back with championships.
The Oak Harbor girls track team had 10 individuals win seven events as the Rockets scored 197 points to easily win the Sandusky Bay Conference Bay Division title. Huron was in second with 122 points.
Oak Harbor senior Peyton Bloomer started high-jumping in the seventh grade, mostly because her older sister, Ally, did the same event some years before her.
Oak Harbor junior Isiah Miller was a sprinter in junior high, and then he transitioned to hurdles his freshman year. Miller does not mind as long as he is winning races.
