Get ready for a whole lot of new voices and exciting artists. TikTok has launched its new Black Creatives incubator program, and announced the lucky and talented slate of artists who will be participating in the program.
TikTok announced on Tuesday that, after receiving over 5,000 applications, they ve chosen 100 emerging Black creators to take part in the three-month incubator program, deisgned to foster and develop their platform and their voices.
The participating creators run the gamut of different content categories, from arts and entertainment to music and performance to food and cooking, to beauty and fashion as well as sports and fitness.

Brothers Blake and Landen Douglas say 11-year-old Landen was a few steps ahead of his younger sibling at the intersection of Wright Drive and Ardagh Road in Barrie shortly before 9 a.m. when an SUV ran into Blake. It (the street signal) showed the walking sign for us. Me and my brother walked forward. The guy was parked. He pulled out his phone and then started driving forwards and hit me, Blake says.
JASPER, Ga. – After a lengthy debate, Jasper City Council decided to table further discussion regarding a high-density multifamily residential community.
The application for the
Cottages at Creekside comes from Coastal Building Group, LLC. The idea, in its current form, is to rezone and develop just over 15 acres of agricultural land into a 75 unit neighborhood located at 855 North Main St. in Jasper. Brian Westbrook, the project’s spearhead, says they have incorporated sidewalks, a community garden, and a gazebo into the design to maximize livability. Cherie Martin, the project’s realtor, says that because of the neighborhood’s proximity to down, she envisions a walkable community with easy access to churches, restaurants, and shopping. Both Westbrook and Martin agree that home prices could range from $209,000 to $250,000.
