Rajiv Malalasekera, Chief Executive Officer – Brandix Apparel Solutions Limited symbolically presented the sponsorship cheque to Suresh Subramaniam, President of the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOCSL) at a media event held recently.
As part of the support extended to the Sri Lanka Olympic Team, Brandix created specialised T-shirts as an inspired solution in gearing them for the international sporting arena.

As part of the support extended to the Sri Lanka Olympic team, Brandix created specialized t-shirts as an inspired solution in gearing them for the international sporting arena. The t-shirt fabric, an innovation by Teejay Lanka – a company within the Brandix Group of companies – includes a base polyester material made from recycled PET bottles collected along the coastline of Sri Lanka and is developed with the support of Eco Spindles. The fabric is further processed using ‘Smart Undyed Technology�
In its continued efforts to ensure that no child is left behind in continuing their education, Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, together with TV Derana endeavoured to provide 100,000 schoolchildren in need with Data Scholarships under the ‘NanaDiri Data Scholarship’ programme to facilitate their online learning from home.
Through the NanaDiri Data Scholarship programme, which is part of the ‘Dialog Axiata with Manusath Derana’ initiative, each student will be offered 10GB Data for online learning and educational purposes for 3 months. Under this initiative, NenaDiri Data Scholarships were awarded to students at Angulugaha Maha Vidyalaya, Galle on 14th June with the participation of Ministry of Education officials and Dialog representatives.
