Capitol this afternoon. They also marched into jessup hall to protest outside harrelds office. They say they fear he will run the University Like a business, potentially cutting programs that dont make money. Theyre also upset that harrelds resume listed a company that doesnt exist. Harreld says he had reached out to many people on campus to try and talk about their differences. He says some people have acted unprofession ally and refused to talk to him. Harreld says hes ready to make clear, direct and bold decisions for this university. And hes not going to let the criticism affect him. It comes with the territory, ive been part of these types of transitions multiple times and everyone gets a little nervous, a little anxious, they dont know me, they anticipate the worst it seems like, and frankly some bad behavior starts to pop out, i think weve gotten a little over the edge here.
