Hosted by volunteer-driven not-for-profit initiative Brands for Better Foundation, the event begins with the Let’s Go Zero Conference on April 28. Attendees of the virtual educational pre-conference and workshops will learn everything about the importance of zero waste from more than 40 subject matter experts.
“Local brands have stepped up to fight for the city where they live and work, and help Vancouver reach its goal of being a zero waste community by 2040,” said Karla Peckett, Creative Director at SOLE/ReCORK and founder of Brands for Better Foundation in a release.
“Brands understand our city, they know what people like and what they don’t, so this presents a big opportunity to utilize their knowledge and experience to help guide the necessary shifts in Vancouver.
