West Branch students get real-life medical lesson Special to The Alliance Review ALLIANCE – West Branch High School students had an up-close lesson in medicine during a recent classroom visit.  Dr. David Kanagy, a physician at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital, met with ninth- and 10th-graders in the school s biomedical science class to discuss the path to becoming a physician.  During the visit, he got a little help from his son, Michael, who is a 10th-grader.  The board-certified otolaryngologist conducted a Q&A session for the students, answering questions about various procedures he does both in office and in a surgical setting.
