Photo courtesy of Village of Union City Facebook page UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Union City Police Officer Travis Ferry will be presented with the American Legion Michigan State Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award during a Saturday afternoon ceremony at the Union City High School Field House. According to a recent post on the village’s Facebook page, Officer Ferry was selected for his role in multiple recent incidents which included awards for performing lifesaving CPR and helping to bring a safe resolution to a situation involving an armed suicidal person at an area business. Ferry is representing Michigan in the National competition.
