A GROUP of primary school children didn’t let coronavirus get in the way of their carol concert this year. Normally pupils from Brampton Primary School would visit local care homes to serenade them and spread Christmas cheer, however, the coronavirus restrictions stopped them from being able to do that in person. However, staff at the school came up with a new way to spread the Christmas cheer, with a concern via Zoom. Headteacher, Richard Clark, explained: “It went very well. In the end we had three care homes on, we had Green Lane, Bramble Court and Howard Court. “We did various songs and we had a Christmas talk where a teacher interviewed a child about what they were hoping for Christmas. We also did a Christmas poem.
