Gujarat: Two held for gambling activities in Nagarwada area of Vadodara | Vadodara News

VADODARA: Two persons were arrested in Nagarwada for gambling activities on Wednesday night. The surveillance staff from Karelibaug police station had received information during patrolling that some persons were gambling in open at Navidharti locality in Nagarwada. When cops reached the locality, two persons identified as Rajesh Solanki and Sunny Rana were found gambling under the streetlights. Solanki is a resident of Harijanvaas in Nagarwada while Rana lives at Fatehpura. The duo was arrested and booked under Prevention of Gambling Act at Karelibaug police station. Police seized Rs 15,900 cash from them. “The two accused were interrogated whether they were involved in any gambling activities in the past and if other persons were also present there before our staff arrested them,” said a police official.
