believe that the road is now compromised just because so much heavy debris has fallen on to it. here in capitola, a lot of the businesses along this beach front have boarded up because it s not safe. we spoke to one of those business owners about how frustrating this has been over the last few weeks. rain-wise, it wasn t quite as bad. wave-wise, it was bigger and probably the biggest i ve seen down here. i ve lived in this area my whole life as well, seen plenty of crazy storms. this one takes the cake for sure. now, the good news is this wave is expected to be the last severe storm for a while. january is expected to be pretty dry, which will help communities like this rebuild. dana griffin, thank you. let s get over to angie lassman with more on when the weather could let up. there is relief that could
