Local students from Graham FFA recently received accolades at the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo for various categories. The San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo was held from Feb. 1-18, with events continuing into April. In the Ag Mechanics contest Graham FFA won two first place awards.
Graham FFA represented well at recent area and state Leadership Development Events. Four students participated in the area LDEs with hopes of advancing to the state competition. The area event was held at Abilene Wylie High School where the four Graham representatives competed against a host of other students from around Texas.
Four Graham High School FFA students punched their ticket to the area competition after advancing this week in the district Leadership Development Events (LDE) in Springtown. The students participated Monday, Nov. 6 in 10 different events in the district competition. According to FFA rules, students cannot take part in more than two events so some students overlapped.
