Headlining the event will be the Midwest Sprint Car Series in its second event of the season. The Indiana Late Model Series and Scott’s Custom Colors DIRTcar Modifieds will also race. The Midwest Sprint Car Series is coming off its season opener on April 17 in which there was a field of 35 cars at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind. Kyle Cummins won the feature event, while Jadon Rogers, Chase Stockon, Justin Grant, and Brady Bacon rounded out the top five.

Photo: Brendon Bauman TULSA, Okla. - Christopher Bell ran away from the field over the closing laps of Thursday’s John Christner Trucking Qualifying Night at the 35th annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals at Oklahoma’s Tulsa Expo Raceway. It marked the seventh win since 2014 for the Norman, Oklahoma native, who will drive for Joe Gibbs Racing on the NASCAR Cup Series this year. Bell is now locked into his eighth Saturday night Championship A-Feature in as many years, and will be looking for his fourth career Chili Bowl victory.
