FORT ST. JOHN, B.C – The city continues to contemplate outdoor refrigerated ice surfaces for Kin Park, which will cost between $2 million to $3.1 million to construct.
Director of Community Services, Karin Carlson, will present research conducted into the potential surfaces and estimated costs to council Monday.
“These outdoor ice surfaces will quickly become a winter feature that can be used by the Recreation Department to activate winter community events, special events and other outdoor leisure opportunities,” says Carlson’s report to be presented to council on March 8th.
