Perhaps surprisingly, according to the U.S. Bureau of the Census, about 90% of American businesses are family-owned or controlled. They range in size from small partnerships toFortune 500firms. And they account for half of the nation’s employment and half of the Gross National Product.
Loudoun County certainly has a strong tradition of family-owned businesses over its more than 260-year history. That continues today.
