A federal judge in Boston on Tuesday pushed back the trial date for a doctor accused of possessing child pornography and suspected of using a hidden camera to secretly record young patients, with prosecutors indicating they may file additional charges in the case.
This is the first hearing scheduled for the 32-year-old family doctor, who officials said wore a hidden camera during a medical exam with a child, since his Feb. arraignment.
Prosecutors claim the doctor wore a hidden camera during while conducting medical exams on children and had thousands of images and videos of child sex abuse.
A tip on the former Baystate family doctor was one of 32 million child sexual exploitation tips received in 2022 by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
