The Dwayne and Cynthia, Will it Children s Hospital has a new pediatric ambulance to help transport sick patients. The hospital already had a specialized neonatal ambulance, but it didn t have one that could accommodate pediatric patients until now. It s really significant because it allows us to get a nurse and a respiratory therapist to that other hospital to start providing care immediately for those patients that really need high level of care, specialized care that we re able to provide. We ll start using the new ambulance tomorrow. It will go to any hospital in southeast Georgia and the low Country to bring patients back to Savannah for care.
