So the plan right now is to warm above freezing as the rain moves in but i fear that in the next couple of hours we will get a sprinkle or two out toward worcester or fitchburg or keene and freeze up upon contact with the ground. So theres concern of a little bit of freezing drizzle. Most should stay focused across western massachusetts, noon rolls around, temperatures upper 30s to lower 40s. This might be a little bit optimistic with the warmup but the gist of it here expecting above freezing temperatures this afternoon as the rain turns heavier and steadier. So do be aware of couple icy spots far inland this morning but we got the rain that develops turns strongest during the evening hours, 40 to 46 for your highs today, timeline on how long rain remains steady. I got freezing rain on the map this morning. Out into the berkshires, reports of icing on the roads there, limited prime precipitation and now 33 in boston, 20s in the burbs all the way back to worcester at 29, fitchburg at 22, 25 in portsmouth, New Hampshire, 30 in plymouth and 31 in hyannis and clouds creeping into those spots now and future cast not showing that much moisture, patchy showers across western connecticut, 32 in worcester, so after this point if we get a little bit of a sprinkle or a spritz, hopefully it is not going to freeze to surfaces but way until noon time today but temperatures finally warm above freezing and noon time dont be surprised even around boston you get a quick sprinkle and steady rain holds off and developing rain 40 to 46 for highs.
