The allegations involve the woman being hit with a bottle, punched, kicked and stamped on. It is alleged that Ceiryn Meade made offensive comments to two females in a bar before assaulting her nearby. Meade, 21, of Boyle Drive, and Mark Jeffrey, 32, of Elder Place, both Rosyth, will go on trial later this year accused of offences said to have taken place on February 20, 2019. It is alleged that at the Seven Kings, Bridge Street, Meade made offensive remarks towards two females. It is also alleged that on the same day, at Kirkgate, whilst acting together, Meade and Jeffrey assaulted a female by repeatedly punching and kicking her on the body, struck her on the head with a bottle or similar instrument, caused her to fall to the ground, repeatedly punched, kicked and stamped on her head and body, all to her injury, and robbed her of a mobile phone and a purse.
