Agartala, Sep 19 (PTI) Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was impressed by the BJP's win in recent bypolls to two assembly seats which have sizeable minority voters.
Counting of votes for the bypolls to four assembly seats in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Tripura will begin at 8am on Friday in the first electoral test for the INDIA bloc against the BJP.
Seven Assembly constituencies will hold bypolls across six states to fill vacant seats on Tuesday. This will be the first show of strength of the Opposition bloc, Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA)
