Its important for our office to advocate and recognize, and come together and really remember our strength and resilience. As the only acting director of a City Department in the country, i feel like theres a lot of pressure, but working through my own challenges and barriers and even my own selfdoubt, i think ive been try to remember that the action is about helping our community, whether thats making sure the community is housed, making sure they have access to health care, and using kind of my access and privilege to make change.
