do you care to say which is true? obviously i don t know what was going through her mind when she said that. it s hard to believe you would go on television and simply make up a massacre and not believe that you would get called on it sooner or later. the part that makes me think this is not just a mistake, something that was in her head that was deliberate, not only did it happen, but added the twist of the screw at the end, the media didn t cover it. this kind of argument that you hear on the fringes of the political conversation that the media is covering things up all of the time. so, look, this is something that was clearly unequivocally wrong. they pilloried reporters when they have gotten things wrong. she tweeted out this morning, everybody take a deep breath. the standards here seem to be applied differently. i think this resonates so much because it s an administration that already has shown on so many fronts it s willing to push the boundaries of the truth.
