Two people have filed so far for the special election to fill the Ward 4 City Council seat.
Karten McNamanara, 18 Prince St., and Connor Spern, 23 Union St. No. 2, have filed as of Tuesday.
Councilor Meredith Hatfield resigned last month after moving out of the city.
The special election will be held Tuesday, July 13. Candidacy filing is open through Monday, May 10, at the City Clerk’s Office. The filing fee is $5. Candidates can file by petition through Friday, May 14.
