Today the Minnesota National Guard helped our neighbors in North Dakota with flood preparations. A St. Cloud-based CH-47F Chinook took the two-hour flight to Pembina, North Dakota, to airlift a pair of high-volume pumps, according to the Minnesota National Guard.

The Minnesota National Guard placed the pumps, which both weigh more than five tons and are leased from a private contractor, using a CH-47 Chinook helicopter.
