County Supervisor Sequanna Taylor is partnering with local activists and organizations to assist communities in Mississippi who are experiencing a water outage. The group will travel to Mississippi later this week to deliver necessities and assist people who need help.
The group is gathering winter clothes, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, paper products, baby supplies, food and snow removal supplies. The group is also seeking a skilled plumber to join the trip and provide home maintenance assistance.
Mississippi s water outage has caused many to lug gallons from distribution sites to their homes just to flush the toilet. Low pressure in faucets has made it difficult to shower or wash dishes. A citywide water boil notice has left thousands of people without immediate safe drinking water.

Homer Blow, began when the trio heard about what was going on in Texas from recent Milwaukee transplants.
