Boulder's Casey Middle School opened about 100 years ago as Northside Intermediate School on what was a former brick factory and quarry in the city's early days.
Abigail Kleppinger is starting her first teaching job this fall at Louisville's Coal Creek Elementary after earning her teaching degree at Colorado Mesa University.
