One decade ago, Whitney Wolfe Herd launched the wildly successful dating app Tinder alongside her then-boyfriend Justin Mateen. Just a few years after the app took off, Mateen pushed her out of the company following a less-than-cordial breakup. As one of the only platforms where women make the first move, Bumbleâs feminist empowerment has been brought to LMUâs campus through the college ambassador program.
