The biggest and oldest wine route in the country
The Stellenbosch Wine Route is a bucket-list destination for international tourists and South African holiday goers alike. Formed in 1971 it is home to over 200 wine estates and made up of five sub-routes, divided according to wine styles, climate and location. These include the Greater Simonsberg, Stellenbosch Berg, Helderberg, Stellenbosch Valley and Bottelary Hills.

Cape Town - The Schools Evaluation Authority (SEA) has released the reports for how well some schools in the Western Cape are performing.
The SEA independently evaluates Western Cape schools and develops reports which are published for parents and communities to know how well the schools in their areas are performing. The evaluations provide an independent and external examination of school practices and include recommendations on what should be improved.
The schools are assessed on:
Learner Achievement: To evaluate the knowledge and skills learners have acquired, progress made by learners over a period and recognition of learners.
