Greek youths and students in Victoria are called on to take part in a competition in a number of mediums that reflects their understanding of the meaning of the events of 1821 that sparked the revolution leading to Greek independence.
The Ambassadors 200 competition, which is divided into four age categories for entrants ranging from six to 21 years old, has been organised by the Organisational Committee for Greek National Day under the auspices of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and in conjunction with the Consul for Education in Melbourne and the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad.
Participants to the Ambassadors 200 competition can present their views on the meaning of 1821 in a number of ways including as: an essay, a poem, drawing, Power Point presentation, a poster, interview, as song, painting or an object.
