Winter weather causes at least two rollover crashes Missouri State Highway Patrol COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) Both crashes sent their respective drivers to local hospitals. The first crash happened at 2:10 a.m. on Route W, 79 feet north of South Rock Creek Road. Anthony Kerns was travelling south on Route W when his car began to slide on the snow covered road. The car traveled off the right side of the road, went down an embankment and overturned into a creek. An ambulance transported Kerns to Capital Region Medical Center with moderate injuries. The second crash happened at 2:26 a.m. on Highway 52, 142 feet west of Cottonwood Road.

Road conditions cause wreck in Morgan County Wednesday morning MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ) Missouri State Highway Patrol report a Morgan County crash was caused due to road conditions on US Highway 50 east of Old Route 50. Troopers report a 1999 Ford F-250 lost control due to the conditions causing a trailer to swerve and hit oncoming traffic. The driver of the Ford, Jorge Ipina, was taken to Bothwell Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the second vehicle, Emily Edwards, was taken to Bothwell Hospital with serious injuries.
