This is coming as the Egyptian Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade – in cooperation with French produce logistics company, Rungis International, is intent on establishing a specialised zone to manage the circulation of vegetables, fruits and all other such commodities in Alexandria’s Borg El Arab. The zone will be 50 ha large; the investments needed will be around €100 million.
