KETCHIKAN (KDN) â Ketchikan did not record a new positive test result on Wednesday, leaving the community s cumulative total of COVID-19 cases at 250, according to a 5 p.m. update from the local Emergency Operations Center.
Of Ketchikan s total cases, 236 have involved residents or individuals who stayed in Ketchikan after being tested. The remaining positive test results have involved individuals who traveled beyond Ketchikan after testing.
Six local cases were active as of 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to the EOC.
Since the start of the pandemic, 27,715 COVID-19 tests have been collected in Ketchikan.
According to online EOC information, 13,130 of those tests have been conducted at local clinics, 6,853 have been administered at the Berth 3 drive-up testing clinic, and 7,732 took place at the airport traveler testing site.
