Mass Tech names WPI grad as director of Center for Advanced Manufacturing

Image Christine Nolan, director of the Center for Advanced Manufacturing Nolan is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, and most recently served as senior director for client services at Virtual, Inc., a consulting and management services firm in Wakefield. She has also worked at connector and socket manufacturer Augat, Inc. of North Attleboro, and at Parker Hannifin Corp. and Kollmorgen, global motion and control technology companies. Nolan is a co-founder of Boston TechJam, an annual event bringing 8,000 people together annually from the state’s tech sector. “Christine is a great find for the Commonwealth, as her strong background in engineering, marketing, and customer engagement will help us leverage the investments we have made in advanced manufacturing through our M2I2 program while also branding the manufacturing sector for future growth,” said Housing and Economic Development Secretary Mike Kennealy, who co-chairs of the Massachusetts Advanced
