BPL to Go: Patrons will be able to pick up physical items such as books, DVDs and CDs from select Boston Public Library locations. The Program, called “BPL to Go,” will allow patrons to order items from the library by placing a hold on them, then pick them up from select branches. Once they have scheduled a time for pickup, patrons will be able to pick up their items from the Central Library from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Activist Kids Book Club: 4 p.m. Saturdays through March 20. The 26-week Activist Kids Book Club focuses on a different page in “A is for Activist.” Participants will read other picture books about the issues and movements discussed in the book, learn about kid activists throughout history and today and talk about how to make the world a better place for everyone.
