Mr. Berk’s “visionary leadership and immeasurable contributions to Berklee have left an indelible mark on our community and on the world of contemporary music," said David Bogen, the college’s interim president.
Berklee said the music college became "a world-renowned leader in contemporary music education" during the tenure of Berk, who left "a visionary and transformative legacy."
