He’ll get little argument from me. Like Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart and his famed dissertation on “hard-core pornography” I may not be able to define what makes a car beautiful, but I darn sure know it when I see it. Infiniti’s loquacious executive design director, Alfonso Albaisa, may talk about how its straight horizontal lines make the new QX look more muscular or that its muscular haunches give it a feeling of both “power and serenity.” I just know that it looks absolutely fetching from every angle and under any light. Where BMWs and Mercedes are starting to look interchangeable and Audis just plain, well, plain, the new QX60 is new, bold and different. And no, those last three descriptors are not a quote from a press release, but my own evaluation.
