Jessica, darby police are still searching for the suspects they believe to be responsible for this shooting. They say the suspects are two men in their late teens to early 20s. Meanwhile, police have been going door door in this area hasnting out these flyers in it saying how concerned they are about the shooting. But also looking for eyewitnesses. They need leads. Department with more. Well, police are looking for the shooters responsible for that stray bullet, that nearly hit a toddler sleeping in his crib. Police have been searching surveillance videos hoping to talk with eyewitnesses, in hopes of catch the shooters. A crib is supposed to be a safe place but sunday night the dangers of the outside world cape close to hitting a three year old boy sleeping. The shooting happened around 11 00 at night near the intersection of sixth and walnut st. Police describe the gunman as two men in their late teens and early 20s. There were number of 9millimeter shell casings at the scene. But, police say the stray bullet hit a block away, going through a wall at the boat house apartments. People fire weapons and dont understand where that round will go after they fire it. I dont want to see any kid, anybody really get hurt. Fire officials describe the basement fire at 1655 middleton street that took the life of 36yearold veteran firefighter joyce craiglewis early tuesday morning. The basement fire with the smoke and heat rising when you go down into basement you running down into the heat and smoke. Reporter craig lewis the mother of two that entered the row home from the front from engine 64. They are trying to get an elderly victim out and knocked down the fire. Conditions inside were bad. Very intense arc lot of smoke. Significant amount of heat. Tremendously ice consider centing. Its quite hot and visibility is typically near zero. Reporter craig lewis and her fellow firefighters descended into the basement and conditions deteriorated quickly. Her team was ordered to exit the basement. She didnt make it out.
