CLYMER BOROUGH POLICE CHIEF RESIGNS By Hometown2
On Tuesday night, Clymer Borough Council accepted the resignation of police chief Lou Sacco.
Sacco has been with the Clymer Police department since 2019, when he was hired to be their officer in charge. He was named police chief in 2020. Borough Council President Louis Tate said that Sacco made a major impact in his time there.
Sacco’s last day is August 1st. He is leaving to become the chief of Blairsville’s police department.
To take over for Sacco, council promoted Police Officer Charles Waller to Chief effective August 1st, and hired Ryan Killen as a new part-time police officer effective immediately, provided he passes all requirements.
