MUMBAI: A hotel employee was attacked by an armed man who had barged into the premises of a hotel at Borivali West on Wednesday morning. A preliminary probe showed that an altercation broke out between the accused and the hotel employee, Salim, after the accused was stopped from entering a customer s room. No arrest has been made so far.
Salim, 19, works as a receptionist at Hotel Divine located near Borivali West railway station. Around 8.10am on Wednesday, an unknown man entered the hotel. Uon being asked the man said he wanted to meet a customer staying at the hotel. He started moving towards the customer s room. Salim stopped him and said they couldn t allow visitors to directly enter their customers room in this manner. This sparked a row between the man and Salim resulting in a scuffle.
